A Small list of Some of the Most Expensive foods | The Factroom

These are some of the most expensive dishes of the world that every person shall try at least once in a lifetime. These dishes  symbolize luxury and purity . The fact that makes it so expensive is the quality and rarity of the ingredients.

  • KOPI LUWAK . It is one of the most expensive  and bizarre coffees in the world and is produced in Indonesia. It consist of  partially digested coffee cherries that are eaten and excreted by a special animal known as the Asian palm civet. This coffee is also known civet coffee. Nowadays the Asian palm civet are hunted down for the production of this coffee. The quality of this coffee is top-notch as these animals only choose the best cherries and enjoy . These  are fermented due to some chemical reaction inside the animal's body. The ultimate price of this bizarre coffee can be up to $700 per kilogram. But according to me this coffee isn't up to the mark as I felt that it was a bit bland. For those who are extremely into tasting costly foods, this would not hurt them at all. It is mainly about the excitement that a person feels when they know that it is made from an animal's waste product.

  • PULE CHEESE. It is one of the most expensive cheeses in the world and is made from a combination of donkey and goat milk. It is a Serbian cheese which is produced in the Zasavica nature reserve. The price is extremely high due to its rarity. There are only about 100 Balban donkeys which are used in preparing this cheese. The most shocking part of this is that it costs 1000 euros per kilogram. The pule cheese holds a very high place in Serbian cuisine. It is an extremely unique product as not everyone would've thought that they could make a fortune out of these donkeys. The eccentric product also shows that this animal is getting endangered . Apparently,  the next generation of humans may never be able to try out this amazing experience.

  •        WAGYU BEEF.  Originating from japan, wagyu beef is the most expensive meat in the world and is considered the best. The word wagyu means 'Japanese cow'. Wagyu beef is known for its fatty, tender and mouthwatering meat. The rearing method that is used in Japan is the main reason that makes it costly.  It is used in dishes  like sukiyaki and is usually considered as a premium option. The cows are given  utmost care and are allowed to grow up to 700 kilograms. These cows are sent to fattening farms where they increase in size and weight apart from being given a special Japanese diet. The wagyu beef can cost $200 per pound.  According to me the wagyu beef is one of the most flavorsome and fatty meats that I have ever tasted in my entire life. But I would not encourage you to use this meat while preparing a steak as there are many better options available. The meat may not be extremely healthy  because of the fat content present in it and may not be suitable for people who take extreme care for their daily diets. But as a 12 year old boy, healthy foods are my least concern. My biggest concern is to fulfil my appetite with the most memorable food that the world can provide.

The world still has many more things to offer, but the better it gets the more expensive it becomes. Nothing in the world is meant to be free, everything has a certain price. The price defines the complexity ,availability and quality. But there are still many things which are even better than the 3 things that I have mentioned above for a much cheaper price.

Yet there are always stereotypes that costly food is tastier. All the 3 things above have their source as animals, which are not created by humans. What humans are meant to do is 2 things -to execute it and to enjoy it. That's the simplest thing mankind can do
