 What are tornadoes ?

Tornadoes are violently spinning strong winds with a narrow end towards the ground. They destroy almost everything at its base and it suck it up. They can go up to 500 kilometers per hour and tornadoes can develop from thunderstorms. But fortunately they do not move beyond 20 km. Tornadoes usually form over land. The tornadoes that form above the sea are known as water spouts.

What are cyclones?

Cyclones are powerful circular storms that usually form over low-pressure areas. They usually develop near the equator and are characterized by a special portion called the eye. They can be extremely dangerous and causes mass destruction. They are also referred to as typhoons and hurricanes. The Great Bhola Cyclone in Bangladesh took lives of at least 400000 humans.
