Noah's Ark : Story | The Factroom

 Origin

The Noah’s ark is a story mentioned in the bible written in the language Hebrew and later it was also mentioned in the Qur’an written in Arabic with variations. In the Bible the person is known as Noah, while in Qur’an the prophet is known as Nuh. The ark in Qur’an is known as Safina Nuh which means “Nuh’s boat” which is similar to Noah’s Ark.


The Story


Noah lived at an era when all people had evil and violent thoughts .But Noah was an innocent man and he told everyone for a hundred years to be righteous but the situation became worse .God became extremely furious and decided to destroy all the people of the earth .God instructed him to build an enormous ark and he did it Everyone jested and joked when Noah said that it would flood . 7 days later the rains arrived. God protected Noah and his family from the flood and they were in the ark for more than an year. When the waters had lowered the ark rested on the Mountains of Ararat. Later he send a dove to make sure that the water has lowered. God showed a rainbow as a sign of promise that he would never destroy the entire earth by floods.
